JIGGER / JOLLEY
The forming method which is widely used in ceramic industry is spinning of plastic raw materials on a plaster mould using a heated metal dye. For this method, jiggering machines are used and open forms with horizontally circular cross-sections can be produced.
Jiggers for plates are used to produce large and flat pieces in particular. The rotational speed difference between the dye and the mould is important in the determination of the final shape of the article. Therefore the dye on this jigger is driven by seperate motor.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Jigger for cups is used for small and deep article like bowls and cups. The dye is rotated by the rotation of the mould.
Various types of articles with different dimensions can be produced with TELLUS jiggers by means of their adjustable dye angle, height and stroke.
