Although the hand jigger is one of the first machines of the porcelain production, due to its versatibility, it is found in all porcelain factories even today. Because the change between different products on this machine takes only few minutes, it is used in the production of articles produced at low quantities.
On the hand jigger, a soft body placed on the mould rotating is jiggered over the mould by hand and the ware is finished by scrapping the excess of the body with a sharp steel profile.
