The shelf drier (plate drier) is an intermittent motion, direct blow drier intended for all flat ware from plates to bowls which are formed with convex or concave dyes. It is aimed to dry the articles rolled onto a plaster mould, to leather hardness state which is sufficient to separate them from the mould. The main heat source is combustion of natural gas or of LPG and auxiliary heat source is electricity. Loading and unloading is manual.
